Self Care
Self care equals wellbeing, and if you want to attract good things to your life, you must know that you are worthy of respect and love. Get real with yourself and the life you want to live. Let go of other’s expectations for your life, and release the painful memories. Listen to your soul in order to explore what it is telling you to do. Self care is a journey that gives us great contentment. We need to care for ourselves in order to find the better way to process all our feelings to counter-act the negativity we are exposed to, day after day. How you can practice self care: Avoid stress by finding ways to relax, like meditation, yoga, getting a massage, taking a bath or walking outdoors; Live Healthy, eat healthy foods, get enough sleep, exercise regularly, and avoid drugs and alcohol; Practice good hygiene. Good hygiene is important for social, medical, and psychological reasons in that it not only reduces the risk of illness, but it also improves the way others view you and how you view yourself; Surround yourself with positive people; Pay attention to your sleeping routine; Try to do something you enjoy every day, that might mean dancing, watching a favorite TV show, working in the garden, painting or reading; Remember that when we keep trying to still be that person from the past, we ignore the fact that we are constantly growing with time. Learn upon what is important to you now. Mindfulness is important to self care because it is a therapeutic technique, that involves being more aware of the present moment. Be aware of what is happening outside, in the world around you, and inside, in your feelings and thoughts. Practising mindfulness can help you become more aware of your own moods and reactions. If you truly want to be live a peaceful and good life, leave the past behind, and focus on what you are now. You are not defined by a moment, or period of time in your life, so stop revisiting your past. Incorporating joy, spirit, and relaxation in your life. Try to journal about your experiences. Keeping a journal is a great way to learn about yourself, and discover how you really feel, in order to manage your stress in a healthy way. Allow some space for you to grow, to improve yourself, and to become wiser. Make time to discover your values, so you can live your life according to them. You will be a lot happier if you reflect, contemplate and think through the greater meaning of your life. Connecting to yourself will help you to find the purpose and inspiration to accomplish what is important to you. You are in control of your thoughts and actions. When you know your strengths, it’s easier not to let obstacles stop you. Focus on addressing any underlying problems that are stoping you to live a more conscious life, in order to find the path toward balance and healthy emotions. Self-care through lifestyle changes and maintenance is something that really applies to everyone. We can all benefit from making small changes to everyday decisions and lifestyle choices to improve our immediate and future health. Self-care means that you take control and responsibility for your health, wellbeing and lifestyle. Your life can change for the better when you make time for yourself. Reduce Negativity
Negativity affects ourselves and everyone around us. Negative energy can have a huge psychological and emotional impact on you. It limits your potential to accomplish things in life. Some people are overwhelmingly positive while others lean towards negativity. If you’re a highly sensitive individual or empath, being around negative people can cause you great damage. If you want to get rid of negative energy, start by taking full responsibility for your thoughts. You have unlimited potential within you to improve your reality, change your life, and spread positivity. Although you cannot see the energy you emit, others can sense it. Negative energy can be present anywhere in your environment and people around you, that’s why spending some time doing self-care and soul cleansing in order to eliminate negative energy is very important. Life feels smaller, less vibrant and less full of opportunity when you get deeply involved in negativity. Clutter is one of the major factors when it comes to blocked energy in your home, so it is good to get rid of stuff you don’t use regularly. If possible, play some music while decluttering, playing high vibration music can increase your own energy, and it does the same for spaces. Plants are an awesome natural filter for negative energy too. If you feel that your home is not a peaceful place, make sure that each space or any room you spend time in your home has at least one plant. Sea salt can also be used to neutralise the environment. Sprinkle sea salt in different areas inside the house, and use salt water around the outside walls of your home. This will help to seal your home against negative energies. Burning white sage while you walk around your house with it, is a really great for clearing bad energies. It’s important to believe, or visualise, a calm and peaceful home. If you focus on negativity, that is what you will receive. You may be carrying negative energy in your body. In order to cleanse yourself, practicing breathing exercises will help you to clear negative energy, as they will increase the level of oxygen in your system, and this will improve your mood and increase your energy level as a result. Physical exercise not only helps you to feel great, and it is also a a great way to dissipate negative energy that could be dragging you down or making you anxious. If you notice that you are attracting, receiving and absorbing lower energies from people or your environment. you can use visualisation to brush off the negative energy from your body. First, rub your hands across your body from finger tips, down arms, down legs and torso, throwing all negative energy on the floor. As soon as you do that, visualise a drain by your feet where it departs. The next thing you do is imagine a bright rounded shaped sphere that completely surrounds you from head to toe. Visualise the light getting brighter and brighter until it creates a barrier of protection around you. A relaxing bath may eliminate negativity too. Take your time to relax in the bath, and when you feel ready to get out of the bath, unplug it, but stay in while you think about all of your problems or anything that is causing you to have negative thoughts. Imagine all those things leaving your body and draining with the water, watch the water go down the drain, until every drop of is gone. It is important to set a strong intention to clear all unwanted energy. Your intentions have incredible power. When you are in a situation where you feel that the amount of negative energy around you needs to be reduced as soon as possible, create the intention to be free of negativity and say it out loud. Envision the space within you and around you filled with a protective, healing and positive light. This light will be a shield against dark forces and negative energy. Always remember to keep a positive mind and ask your Spirit Guides to bless you with positive energy in your prayers. Focus on what you seek, because good energy is contagious. To attract positive things in your life you need to start by giving off positive energy.

You deserve to take time to enjoy the festive season. And the best way of doing that is to plan ahead. With a bit of preparation, you can get lots of festive chores out of the way, so you can focus on your family when the big day comes. Now that christmas is just around the corner, it is time to start thinking about festive planning. Planning for the festive season can also make a huge difference when it comes to your finances. Social gatherings combined with presents, alongside everyday expenses can be the recipe for financial struggle. It’s vital to be conscious of the costs involved, so that when 2018 arrive, you’re not suffering from a major spending hangover. When it comes to Christmas Financial planning, the first thing you need to consider is your budget. You need to decide what your budget is for each person on your Christmas list. When you make your Christmas list, set higher budgets for family and close friends. Here are some tips when doing your Christmas Planning: -Use a notebook or a planner to write down all the names on your list and also brainstorm gift ideas; -Set up a budget for each person and also plan for handmade gifts and cards to go along with your main gift (if appropriate); -Do your online shopping in advance, so you will have time to wrap all gifts without any rushing; -Track all your Christmas orders and ensure to send away Christmas gifts and cards by post before December 12; -Get extra christmas wrapping in case you run out and take advantage of the seasonal offers to ensure you save money; -Always save receipts in case of returns; -Take stock of your decorations. As cards arrive, update address book for next year. Remember that getting organised is the best way to ensure you’ll have more holiday cheer. Ensure you keep track of the big tasks. Put all activities on a calendar, find out when parties, school activities and other events are taking place, so there is no rushing. Make plans for overnight guests if necessary. Think about who will be showing up and spending the night. Check if you need to buy extra towels, replace old sheets, and focus on getting your house in shape for visitors. Keep in mind that you don’t need to be cooking all day on the 25th to get Christmas dinner ready in time. Try to do all the prep in advance. That means more time to spend with the family. Give yourself a break on Boxing Day and choose an easy menu, so you can have a glass of wine and sit in front of the telly. Tis the season to be jolly, not the season to be stressed. Rejection
We all know that we shouldn’t be affected by any kind of rejection, but the truth is that we are always looking for acceptance in life. Feeling rejected, isolated and lonely tend to affect our mental and physical health. Feeling rejected can also affect our perception of life, our sleeping routine, our immune system. This negative feeling can take away the joy from our lives, but at the same time, being rejected is actually part of life. It can happen in your romantic life, your career, or friendships. People that feel rejected may face exclusion more often because being rejected makes them depressed. If you suffer from anxiety you may be constantly worried about being socially rejected. When negative thoughts about being rejected shows up, it is important to challenge those thoughts with positive affirmations, and remember that you should never take things personally. Keep in mind that resilient people know that rejection is a positive sign that they're living life to the fullest. Nobody is rejected in their comfort zone, so if you dare to try new things, you can expect to be rejected sometimes. We live in a society where we constantly compare ourselves to others. We judge ourselves on how smart we are, on how good we look, or how successful we are in comparison to others. But when we feel rejected, our view of the world is usually negative. People who feel excluded often get used to nurture negative thoughts and find it difficult to get out of this negative circle. A rejection shouldn’t make you think that this is the way things will always be. Every time I catch myself feeling inferior, I remember that no one can make me feel inferior without my consent. The truth is that rejection does not tell others who I am or who you are. We need to love and honour ourselves, in order to empower our subconscious mind, and stop feelings of failure and rejection blocking us from achieving what we want in life. Our thoughts are incredibly powerful. It only takes 30 seconds of thinking of a negative thought for it to become part of our subconscious, but meditation can often help us to train our minds to release negativity instead of holding onto it. You should accept the bumps in the road as well as certain aspects of your personality as you’re developing towards a better you. Believe in yourself and your abilities and realise that your negative thoughts are not facts. Here is what you can do in order to fight feelings of rejection and practice self acceptance: Try dedicating some moments of your day to show yourself some self compassion. This can make a great impact on your wellbeing, and remind you that you are an unique person with a lot of good traits. . Surround yourself with successful people. Think about the people who inspire you, and push you to do better in life in order to feel motivated to achieve your own dreams. . Try to find things that make you smile and laugh every day. Make sure your spare time is spent on something that will nurture your mind and spirit. . Focus on growing in something that you know and enjoy. Know yourself enough to determine what you are good at. . Get rid of your fears. Letting go of fear can help you to accept things as they come. Overcoming rejection and feeling better about yourself may not be easy, but it can be done. Remember that setbacks in life offer us the chance to get up, learn from the experience, and move on with our lives. If someone is not giving you the respect that you deserve, remind yourself that someone else will. See every setback as an opportunity to grow and try again. You need to realise that you are too special to be compared to anyone else, because your individual gifts and abilities are what make you unique and amazing.

Learn To Love Yourself
When you start trying to be more kind and compassionate to yourself, you can change your life for the better. We all need self motivation to help us through most days. Self-compassion gives you the ability to hold life’s challenges in a sense of support and care. The way your mind speaks to you in all situations, from daily routines to difficult life events, is really important when it comes to your wellbeing. Self talk is the inner voice that can either encourage or break you. People who are highly self-critical, tend to feel like it’s just them feeling that way, everyone else is living this perfect life, and they are the one's who’s failed, but this is far from reality. In order to feel better about yourself and the life you have, you need to improve your self talk and practice self compassion. Regular meditation is a wonderful tool to improve your inner talk and access your subconscious mind. By observing your inner dialog as an outsider, you can reflect on how negative your thought process has become. The first step to shift your mindset to a more positive one, is to be aware when you talk in a negative manner to yourself. There’s is nothing more powerful for self-motivation than the right self talk. Use words that inspire you, motivate you, make you laugh, and boost your mood. Self motivation is all about figuring out what type of positive self talk will encourage and motivate you more. Positive thinking is a way of life. If you don’t feel happy, start observing your thoughts and feelings in a non-judgmental manner. Choose to practice positive self talk daily, and eventually, it starts feeling authentic and you’ll find ways of speaking to yourself that makes you feel good. Make the choice to live fully in the present moment. When you live in the past or the future, you aren’t able to make things happen in the present. Only when you practice non-judgmental observation of your own mind, you are able to stop reacting in a negative manner and reduce negative feelings. When you find that you're thinking negatively about life, it is time to turn that thinking around. Remember that you can’t choose or control your circumstances, but can choose your attitude towards your circumstances. Negative self talk can make a situation seem overwhelming. We all need to keep in mind that nobody is perfect, and when you’re kind and understanding to yourself, you recognise that it’s human to mess up. Simply give yourself permission to be human, and allow yourself to be imperfect. Look for things that inspires you. Remember that when we adopt a negative perspective, it becomes really difficult to focus on something that can lift our spirits up, and boost our energy levels. Positive thoughts can change your life only when you take responsibility of how you feel, and make a commitment to focus on the brighter side of things. Self compassion can lift your spirit. Use your time to put yourself in the present, and give your energy and attention to it. You will feel a instant relief, and you will be able find peace, no matter how busy your mind is. Let go of self-criticism and welcome self-acceptance. Remember that you are able to put things into perspective and that most of your problems are temporary.

Love Returning.
Most of us go through life seeking someone to love us. The truth is that we continuously look for a partner or someone to makes us feel peaceful, happy, and whole. When we are seeking someone to truly love us, giving a past relationship a second chance can be an option when we feel lonely and confused. I believe that any relationship from the past must be carefully assessed before taking any action. Sometimes is easy to daydream about what might have been if the romance had never ended, but even for successfully reunited couples, life has intervened, and you must rationally consider why you would want to get back together, and what has actually changed. After the relationship has ended, it's sometimes hard to tell whether the breakup was a mistake or not. Just keep in mind that genuine love is profound, it does not come and go. It’s important to understand that love cannot fade away, but even when it does, it leaves some scars, or feelings that can flourish later. If you are feeling confused by your own feelings, you first need to analyse your present situation. When you are sad, lonely or disconnected from your inner essence, it is natural for you to look for an alternative source of happiness, and it is very common to try to find joy in your past, because at times like this, we become nostalgic, and we remember the special people that we once loved, and how they used to make us feel. We also tend to idolise the past, selecting the memories that brought us most joy. Lost love relationships can be emotionally dangerous, so be careful when you think about investing in a relationship from the past. Both of you may be now in a different context, and have a different life history. You need to separate reality from idealism, and consider if there are spouses, children, friends, and other factors involved. Think about what you can lose, and if there is a possibility that you are looking for something outside yourself for happiness and validation, just because you are unhappy right now. Take into account all the love baggage you both now carry, and remember that we all want to believe that people have the capacity to change, but if infidelity occurred in your relationship in the past, it’s vital to ensure that this issue is no longer a problem. Letting Go
Disappointment is always hurtful. Coping with disappointment is necessary for success and personal happiness. When you are frustrated, it's important that you experience your emotions. When dealing with anything difficult in life, it's vital to acknowledge your emotional reaction even if it's painful. If you are sure that your expectation is not unrealistic, and you are not being impatient, you need to avoid dwelling on blame. Just let yourself feel your emotions, and remember that your emotional reaction is an important tool when it comes to processing and coping with disappointment. Emotions offer insight into what is really important to you. Take some time to heal. Take some time to reflect on what you can learn from the situation, and make the decision to look at life in a new way. Focus your thoughts on how can you still follow your dreams, and make yourself happy despite the disappointment you had. It’s essential to keep in mind that you can deal with disappointment and come out stronger on the other side. Your emotions may be negative at first, but they are temporary. A setback does not define you, and you are allowed to make mistakes in life. If possible, talk to a rational, calm, sympathetic friend or relative about your disappointment, try to have a chat with someone older who has had plenty of setbacks and can offer you encouragement. You need to acknowledge that it is your job to do the things that will allow you to find balance and inner peace in life. When it comes to let go of what is not benefiting you in your life, you need to be willing to do so. Being willing to let go means that you must face your fears of change. Sometimes you can get so used to drama or negativity that you only listen to your ego, and you reject change. Your ego is that evil voice that puts you in a state of fear, worthlessness or even grandiosity. Keep in mind that nobody else can change your thoughts and your behaviour, but you. Only when you choose to prioritise yourself, to pay a little more attention to the positive aspects in your life, and focus on those things rather than focusing on your fears. You are able to let go of what is in the way of making your life better. Adopting a positive attitude is necessary in order to move on. Remind yourself that better things await for you and never give up. Fear is what holds you back, and stop you from exploring new possibilities. Everyone encounters personal and professional setbacks from time to time. Start by thinking about what and who is important to you, also think about the person you want to be. Make a list of the things that you have to do in order to boost your self-esteem and satisfaction with life. Create healthy daily rituals, and make choices according to your values every day, so you will feel more in control and confident in your decisions. You need to let go of something when you realise that what made you happy in the past is not making you happy anymore. If you adopt a positive mindset, you can overcome your insecurities and leave the past behind. Learn from your mistakes. Yes, you've had a disappointment, but although it's no fun to learn your lesson the hard way, think of all the positive things this knowledge can do for you in the future. Changing your thinking changes your behaviour. Thinking positively requires practice, but you are able to access the power in your soul to create a life free of negativity. When you put yourself in first place, you are able to feed your soul with positive energy and heal. Letting go requires being able to change, adapt to change, and make decisions that will lead to changes in your life. Feeling like you have no control over your life can lead you to be stagnated. Concentrate on what the future may bring, because there is a point in your journey where you must let go of the past, to allow something better to come along.

New Year 2020
When new year approaches, we always try to reexamine our life and figure out what changes we would like to make. With a new year, the promise of a fresh start can be the motivation you need to find balance in your life. Balance starts with a conscious effort, it is about establishing your equilibrium and recovering when life trips you up. It’s easy to get caught up in our busy schedule. Balancing work, family, friends, and other commitments can take up all of our time and energy, leaving little room for ourselves. In order to achieve balance, instead of making regular resolutions, try to make a list of things that you want to your life, where you focus on you. Your main goal should be having time for yourself, so minimise your distractions in a way that you can always find time to do what really matters to you. Create room for reflection before the new year starts, try to light a candle and writing down your thoughts in a journal. Reserve some time to meditate and think back over the past year. Think about where you started and where you’ve ended up. Be grateful. When you practice gratitude regularly, gratitude can help you maintain a fresh perspective and steer you away from daily stress. Make a gratitude list. Think about why you are thankful for the things you wrote down. By doing this, you can find out what’s important to you and what brings you joy. Think about what you like about yourself. Express love to yourself and repeat the mantra: “ I welcome 2020 with love and gratitude “. The new year is a good time to figure out what you value in your life. Think about what you do daily, weekly, and monthly. Visualise what is most important to you, what is optional in your life, and what you can completely avoid. Be honest with yourself. Once you remove all the things that are not important in your routine, you may be surprised at what’s left. If you are stressed and tired during the day you need to learn to delegate some of your tasks in order to find balance. Let someone else do some of the tasks you usually do for a change. Delegation is the key to a healthy work-life balance. Surround yourself with good energy to welcome the new year, let go of negative emotions and you will feel the energy inside you change. Keep in mind that only when you understand your own feelings, you are able to understand others and their motivations, aspirations, and turmoils. Knowing your strengths and limitations allows you to be a better person in general for 2020. It’s important to let go of your troubling thoughts, and send light to past events, in order to transform negative feelings and welcome positive vibes. Setting some time aside each day, to nurture peace of mind, serenity, and calmness is the key to master your emotions and improve your lifestyle. Prioritise your mental wellbeing. Many of us worry about investing time in how we look while neglecting what’s inside. Feeling good about your appearance and physical health is very important to improve how we feel, but change starts from within, so focus on gratitude and be aware of the blessings you already have in your life. Nurture the relationships that are important in your life, create space for the things you enjoy, and be present. Balance is only possible when you stop worrying about your future and thinking about the past. Aim to maintain a sense of clarity and calm in your life. Are You Important?
In our daily routine, we need to be able to express our desires while respecting the needs of others. Sometimes when we try to please everyone, we may end up feeling trapped with almost no time to ourselves. We all reach a point in our life when we know it’s time to put ourselves first, and take our lives into our own hands. Allow yourself to share your feelings freely, to be who you really are, and to express yourself. Do not compromise your own needs when assisting others, and make a point on focusing on what you want instead of what other people expect from you. It is important to consciously acknowledge that it is okay to say no to unreasonable requests. You’re not obligated to do everything people ask you to do, specially when you don’t feel right about it. Being a confident person is about recognising your own talents and good qualities. If you don't respect yourself, you are sending the message that is okay for your friends, family members or co-workers to disrespect you as well. Prioritise how you feel and take the time to know your own limits. Always trust your intuition, and remember that not being true to yourself can be self-destructive, and add unnecessary stress to your life. You need to understand that it's impossible for you to say yes to everything and everyone. Life is about balance. Other people’s interests are not more important or urgent than your own. Loving yourself also means showing others how you will allow yourself to be treated. Your potential is endless. If you want to live life to the fullest you have to know what you want and what you deserve.
