Freedom
Inner guidance is a wonderful gift, but without a little effort from our part, it may take a while to develop it and understand how important it is to connect with our own self. I think it is important to know that we all have the capacity to get in touch with our inner source of wisdom. We live our life in a way that it can be so busy at times, and we simply don’t pay attention to the inner voice that we all have. In our busy schedule, it is not easy to nurture the light and love within us and bring it into the physical reality in which we live, so we become disconnected to our own self. When we nurture our soul, a greater purpose reveal itself, and we can free ourselves from judgment to listen to our inner voice. Spiritual Guidance is a self discovery and a beautiful opportunity to experience a deeper layer of life, it gives us the opportunity to develop the precious gift of intuition, that can guide us and allow us to see clearly what is true and what is not. I often turn to my inner light to find the peace, forgiveness and strength to deal with life ups and downs. It is like an infinite source of energy. I can truly say that only connecting with my inner source of spiritual wisdom I was able to release any sorrow, resentment or grief to continue my journey. Spiritual light give us the gift to move forward freely. It shows us that we are able to detach ourselves from any kind of negativity, and finally, it helps us to understand our life’s purpose.

The Temperance card: Spiritual Balance and Harmony
I love the temperance card because it talks about what really matters in life: harmony, balance and moderation. I think happiness is directly related on how we can apply the elements of this tarot card in our everyday life. We need to achieve the balance between our physical body and our spiritual soul. Every time I feel stressed or overwhelmed by worries, I turn to this card for advice, and it brings me a great sense of calm, and purpose. This card shows us that we can only find a deeper spiritual meaning in our existence if we have a positive outlook in life. It’s important to find the inner peace that we all need to bring harmony into our life. We need to acknowledge and let go of any addictions that are getting in the way of us living a balanced life. Temperance show us that we can not be dependent on anything outside ourselves to make us happy. We can accomplish great things if we take the advice from this card. Temperance teach us to be patient and live in the present, cherish our time, and not be anxious about the past or future. In order to find balance, we need to do what we want right in that moment, get in the habit of paying attention to the small details around us, and appreciate every moment. We need to understand that the past cannot be changed, and the future will inevitably turn into the present. Temperance also represents self analysis and meditation. When we meditate, we are able to connect to our inner voice, and maintain a positive perspective in every situation. With a balanced mind, it is easier to find the peace within us to make the right choices.

Life
What the Wheel of Fortune can teach us about Life The Wheel of Fortune is a card that represents a change. It also reminds us that we should be happy when fortune happens, but we shouldn’t wait for it and most certainly not expect it. We should just let it happen. It symbolizes the cycle of life in constant motion. As the wheel turns, we can also realise that reality is relative to the point of view. Life is full of unexpected events, and we all go trough a metamorphosis several times during our lives. Any transition we go through in life, will require adjustments in our way of living and thinking, and the wheel of fortune makes us understand that changes occur in our lives at regular intervals, but most of the time when we are unaware of them. I find this card to be very important to reflect about life itself. We all know that some changes will be a challenge, but our attitude toward this new situation is the most important aspect for a positive outcome. If we approach changes with fear, we will jump at every sound, and soon we’ll become a nervous wreck. However, if we look forward to it as an adventure, we are certain to win in the end, even if we do make some mistakes in the beginning. As the wheel of fortune represents change, I think that perhaps the most difficult part of any changing involves exploring our inner world. True change cannot just occur on the surface or outside of us. Change means not only understanding who we are, but also why we are who we are. The wheel of fortune presents us with an opportunity to realise that that although maturity does not come with age, it does come with life experiences, which we gain as the years go by. It’s great card to give us a sense of knowing ourselves and our purpose in life. It is also a card that shows us that nothing lasts forever. Life is in constant motion, and things can change anytime. So, as the wheel of fortune turns, wherever you are on it, remember that this time will pass, the wheel will turn once more, and your present moment will be in the past. Like the wheel of fortune, life is full of ups and downs, it’s a journey of discovery, we can face situations that will test our strength, but whatever the situation we may be in, it’s not permanent, so we should never lose hope.

Are You A Postive Or A Negative?
The one thing the law of attraction taught us was like attracts like, especially energy. So it’s pretty obvious that positive people attract other positive people and negative ones get negative ones - remember misery loves company. Who are you surrounded by? If you have an awful lot of negative people around you, emotional vampires, moaners and people who aren't happy unless there is a crisis, it may be time to look at you! Sometimes your negative state of mind and energy are such a part of you are you do not notice it at all, its everybody else who has the problem. Some people think of negativity as being 'real' after all life is hard, or not being too emotional either way or simply not being happy as then you can’t be disappointed. Here are a few questions to see if you are negative? Do you complain a lot? Do you join in with those communal whinging sessions at work? Is the world a negative place? Do you see the traffic jam and the fumes, not the sunlight and the trees? Do you always believe that someone is to blame for what’s happening and do you think they should 'pay' for it? Is everything out of your control? Do bad things just happen to you? Do you feel they could be a curse? How often do you say why me? These help you take a look at the level of your own negativity, it’s surprising just how negative you can be out of your own awareness and how ingrained it can be in all of us. So it’s time you took ownership of your life, things do not just happen to you, you play a role in your own life. The bigger the role the happier your life is. Look for ways to control the negativity in your life, find out the issues and work to resolve yourself, don't wait for someone else. Get hold of your negative thoughts, every time you feel like a victim or everything goes wrong for you catch the thought. Hold it in your mind and review it, where did it come from, is it reality - does everyone hate you?? Really?? Then replace them with positive thought and actions, find affirmations that work on your positivity. Look for the good in life not the bad and in this case sometimes you will have to fake your positivity until you make it real. Look at those people around you, move away from the moaners, don't join in the Monday morning blues, spend time doing things that make you happy, spend time with children they instinctively know how to play and be joyful - go on join in with them. Smile at people, you will be amazed how many people will smile back. Take control of the 'bad' things as much as you can, wherever possible take action, find a new job, raise your issues with the right people, wear what you want and move on from things that cannot be resolved. Take care of yourself, good health physically and emotionally leads to happiness. Spent time in happy places and do things that inspire you. Most of all make your positivity a priority. You will find people who try to bring you back to negativity as it is their favoured position but you will also find people who are positive find you, you have to be strong at times to not fall back into old patterns. Have a positive weekend

Herbs
Herbs have been around for centuries as cures and remedies the Egyptians used herbs for everything from makeup to embalming some of which we still use today - Chamomile, we use today as a calming tea was used to embalm many pharaohs! Another is Garlic (that the Egyptians used as a gargle and for sore throats and we use Garlic as a powerful anti-bacterial as well as anti-fungal and general health and well being supplement. . American Indian tribes relied heavily on herbs and spiritual energy to heal not only the individual but the tribe as well. Many herbs were sacred and tribes used the roots bears dug up as medicine. Many tribes used Black Cohosh to assist with childbearing and today we use this to help elevate menopause symptoms. Once progression was made during the 19th century with conventional medicines and surgery, old herbal remedies were forgotten, anyone interested in using or “prescribing†plants for medicinal purposes had to rely on folklore and anecdotes. There was little proven, reliable research on herbs and they even had a connection to witchcraft. But in the last decade or so they have risen in popularity once more and research shows amazing powers in herbs, such as the ability to kill cancer cells and help problem drinkers curb their addiction. All without the added side effects conventional drugs can give us. Although they will never replace conventional drugs they can enhance our well-being and prevent many other diseases. Many herbalists feel mental health and physical health are so closely linked that properly addressing the ailments identified in one often requires also addressing potentially unidentified ailments in the other. In many cases, the most effective way to restore optimal health to both body and mind is to supplement us with homeopathic and other herbs to bring back balance and harmony. So what is an herb? It’s defined as any herbaceous plant that has medicinal value, this includes any plant or spice or even weed that can change our health. So here are some key herbs that can help us and can be bought over the counter, although a good herbalist is a great place to start. St. John’s Wort - the happy herb, a known anti- depressant and really helps with hormonal mood swings. It has minimal side effects and good researched results. Chamomile - mostly drank as a tea, it’s known for its calming effects, along with muscle relaxation, it’s an anti depressant and quells anxiety as well as promoting sleep. Lavender has been around for years and was often found in drawers or bedrooms as an air freshener due to its beautiful scent. It too promotes sleep burnt as oil or take a lavender bath before bed. It’s also used for headaches and migraines. Dandelions - a natural diuretic and laxative that promotes healthy liver and kidney functions. Mostly drank as a tea or eaten in salad, just beware of the use of pesticides around these so called weeds. Ginger - an all round brilliant herb and the foundation of Chinese medicine, it relieves nausea, menstrual pains, heartburn and migraine as well as killing off some cancer cells. Green tea - again a Chinese basic herb, but it warns off antioxidants, lowers heart disease and helps with fat metabolism. Oh yes it tastes good too! Rhubarb - in the stalks of rhubarb are a whole host of good things that relieve constipation, clean the blood and help our eyes to function. Milk Thistle - this plant cares for our livers, by strengthening it, it also works to help with acne and general digestive issues Let us know how you get on with herbs

The King Of Cups
The King of Cups, is a natural healer and therapist, he responds to emotional needs as he is emotionally stable and secure. I see many qualities in this card. When I talk about the King of Cups, I talk about emotion, creativity, and the unconscious. I love this card because it reminds us to nurture ourselves, and allow others to nurture us. The King of Cups also represents kindness and compassion. In our lives, it can be very difficult to practice kindness and generosity toward others, and expect nothing in return. To be kind and compassionate, we need to have a very deep understanding of our feelings and emotions. Kindness has its true source deep within us, and while some people are innately kind, it's something that everyone can cultivate by choice. I find this card vital as we often need to take time to become more self-aware in order to be nicer to both ourselves (remembering that we all have weaknesses) and to others. Sometimes being kinder to ourselves involves monitoring the negative chatter that keeps putting us down. To be like the King of cups, we need to find balance, and to get the emotional balance we need, we also need to stopping any negative thinking. Even when we're feeling at our very worst, we must remember that other people are also feeling uncertainty, pain, hardship, sadness, disappointment, and loss. If we can understand this, we can also be more compassionate toward others. The King of cups means a lot to me, because it shows me that we can all transform our lives through kindness. Changing how we live and how we view the world, is a lifestyle choice. Many people wonder how to change the world for the better, I think the king of cups comes to say that it takes one random act of kindness at a time. Blessings, Claudia

Fairies
Fairies have been part of many cultures mythology for centuries and many people believe they exist in nature today. In the media the fairy has become a creature that makes wishes come true and pays for children's teeth. They are seen as wise, and kind. Check out stories about sleeping beauty, Cinderella and Peter Pan to see how we got to think of them as these wonderful creatures! But look back a century or so and fairies were far more suspicious creatures, mischievous, chaotic and even, and evil. So are we wrong about fairies and what are they? There are a few theories about that – Fairies were minor goddesses, like nymphs, but with the coming of Christianity, they were demonised and became a force of evil. Many ancient deities and beings like sprites and leprechauns have now become fairies in folk lore. The wings and cute pictures of fairies are all from Victorian illustrations these creatures were once gods and goddesses. They are also thought to be spirits of the dead, ghost or a class of un-dead beings. They lived in ancient burial mounds and graves waiting for other fairies to join them. Sprites, elves and banshees are all examples of this kind of fairy. The church tried to remove the ancient beliefs in fairies by classing them as fallen angels, or even mini demons who paid a tithe to the devil. Pan and the hobgoblin are key examples of evil fairies. Finally they are thought to be a race of small folk who were driven into the woods by us larger humans. They came to be seen as another race, or spirits, and were believed to live in an Otherworld that was underground or hidden in burial mounds. Check out King Arthur and his legends of Avalon where mortals to enter and withdraw from the Otherworld. And apart from the fairy tales what do they do? Legend has it that the queen of the faeries pays a debt to Hell every seven years and this is a human soul. They collect the souls of drowned seaman and of course they have a hand in drowning them. The fairies often stole young women as brides, or perhaps for other, less honourable purposes, if the King of the Faeries takes a shine to a young bride he will ensure her marriage does not take place! Fairies steal mothers after giving birth and leave a doppelgänger in their place that would appear to die, making the women serve as nurse maids in the fairy realm. Handsome men are often seduced by fairy women, once seduced they are trapped by the fairy until they find another to take their place. Like witches they can place a curse on you or your family and are known to take offence at the slightest thing. So a fairy is a pretty powerful creature for good or evil and if you have them living at the bottom of the garden it’s best to treat them with care. Love & light Beverley

Learning from our experiences with the 9 of wands.
We need to give a sense of accomplishment and purpose every day in our life. It is very important to have the ability to face setbacks, failures, crises, with confidence and courage. The Nine of Wands suggests that we are so close to completing a particular project or task but at the last minute, we are faced with yet another challenge or setback. When I see this card, I believe it is important to set goals to help us look toward the future with meaning. When we want to learn from experience, we need to take personal responsibility for our actions and we need to know that we have the inner power to overcome adversities. We all coped with hardships in the past. What we need to consider are the skills and strategies that helped us through rough times. When the 9 the wands appears, is a good idea to write about past experiences in a journal to help us to identify positive and negative behaviour pattern and take time for ourselves to reflect on our actions, and choices. It is vital to keep in mind that challenges usually appears before we can reach ultimate success. We can not change the past, but we can always look toward the future. Accepting and even anticipating changes makes it easier for us to adapt and view new challenges with less anxiety. We must allow ourselves to experience our feelings and remind ourselves of our strengths and accomplishments.

Past Lives
Our past lives are still in our memories but our brain locks them away from us as it would probably be too much for us to cope with in our present lives. We do draw upon them, when we make comparisons with a sense of knowing. Our past lives are influencing us all the time, why do we hate spiders, why have I took an instant dislike to the new guy at work? These may all be linked with our past lives. When you get those déjà - vue moments instead of just brushing it off really try to get in touch with what you remember. What is familiar about this place, person or situation? Can you find an era in time that resonates with you? Is there a feeling like fear, anger, calm or sadness that you associate with this? Do a little research about where you are or who you are with, did something happen in that place or to that person that brings back strange unfocused memories. Of meditation is also a great way to find out about your past lives. You need to be relaxed, and clear your mind of any thought. Once all the distractions of the world are gone you will often be able to see clearly into your past life. This may be a vision, an image. a brief flash but you have no control over it. You will see small glimpses but this will get bigger with practice and your brain will only allow you to see what it thinks you can cope with. If your dreams are crystal clear and you have no idea you were dreaming you maybe remembering a past life. This is especially if your dreams are historical or packed with feelings that are not relevant to the contents of the dream. It’s time to keep a dream journal and see the patterns that occur, the eras and the people who are in your dreams. You have a soul mate, this does not need to be a partner but someone you know inside out, who the moment you met them you felt like you had know them forever. Someone whose path you have crossed many times in this life, but you 'just missed' them. This could have been your parent or lover or child in a previous life but that knowing them immediately feeling often shows you have been close in a previous life. Find a specialist regression hypnotherapist and work with them to find out all about your past lives, see what memories come to the surface and the people that appear in your lives. Again afterwards do some research into what happened in the point in time and the places you found yourself in.

What Does Your Favorite Colour Show?
Do you remember when everything was painted institutional green, hospitals schools etc? Do you ever wonder why that changed? Some philosophers, scientists and medical experts have discovered that the constituents of visible white light, broken into its radiant colours, are needed to bring about the balances in nature. The colours of the rainbow, the rays the angels use and the colours of our chakras are all essential to our well-being. In fact they can even heal us. Colour as shown by nature is needed to restore balance and peace to our lives - let’s face it nature is not all one colour is it? Light and colour are vibrating energies, each colour having its own wavelength and frequency. The colours we see I around us are caused by the light waves being absorbed or reflected off the object. Without light, there is no colour. Each colour has its own complementary or contrasting colour. A complementary colour is the opposing colour on the colour wheel. A good paint shop can let you have a colour wheel. Using the opposing colour in the wheel can help you feel better and different colours mean different things. Warm colours bring things closer and are happy colours to you while cool ones push them away and are calming colour. So your favourite colour shows something about your personality - Red is an energy colour, vibrant and full of life, a go getting colour, a stimulating colour, a focused colour. People who chose this colour are driven, ambitious people, impulsive, sexy and need to win. This colour brings them a lust for life and great leadership skills but watch out for impatience. People who pick this colour can give too much and wonder where they fit into life. Yellow is the sun, the colour of our life-force, a vivid and vital colour. People who chose this colour are inevitably cheerful, curious flexible and great communicators who never stop learning. But watch out for cynicism, anxiety and control when people who chose this colour come up against adversity. Green is the colour of nature and harmony, it is a balanced and soothing colour, it is the colour of healing and peace. When this colour is chosen people will be balanced and tranquil, open hearted, kind and always looking for the truth in their life. These people can be riddled with self doubt and easily knocked out of balance by life, watch out for their need for space. Blue is the cool colour, the colour of electricity, the sky and even antiseptics. This colour is chosen by people who calm, full of logic, faithful, loyal and have a need to be rational and logical in their life. Watch out for distance and aloofness, unpredictable mood changes and even isolation. Violet is the colour of spiritual protection, meditation, contemplation, mysticism and spirituality. People who chose this colour are soft and sensitive often psychic, dignified, imaginative, inventive and helpers of all kinds. They can become ungrounded as they spend too much time in other worldly pursuits, they get stuck and unable to take action, and if that happens they become depressed. When this colour is chosen you will find someone who is innocent and pure of mind, full of compassion to forgive others and themselves, open hearted and able to reflect others back to themselves (empathy).
